James “Jim” Kendrick Thompson

CAVE CITY – James “Jim” Kendrick Thompson, age 72, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at Signature Health Care of Horse Cave. James was born in Glasgow KY, on September 20, 1950, to the late James Thompson and the late Mary Elizabeth Matthews.

He was a gun enthusiast and 4H shooting sports leader. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Thompson; daughters, Carolyn Elizabeth Morrison (Brett), and Laura Thompson (Chris Chapman); brothers, Bobby Thompson, and Ricky Thompson; he is also survived by two nephews.

Besides his parents, Jim is preceded in death by his sister, Dottie Thompson; brother, and James Woodrow Thompson.

Mr. Thompson’s family has honored his wishes for cremation. A.F Crow & Son Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Thompson.
