Jane Ann Elmore

LUCAS – Jane Ann Elmore, age 70, passed away, Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Signature Health Care. She was born in Monroe County, on March 16, 1953, to the late Neal Yokley and the late Mona (Shaw) Yokley. She was a homemaker who loved reading, buying lottery tickets, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Elmore.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Elmore and Jennifer Elmore Bow; two sisters, Tressie Houchens and Carol Wheat; four grandchildren, Justin Smith (Amanda), Jessa Poynter, Joey Poynter, and Jaina Poynter (Sebastian); six great-grandchildren, Brently Smith, Kincaid Smith, Eli Bunch, Cohen Bunch, Judah Bunch, and Malakai Howard.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Murl Yokley; two sisters, Helen Shockley and Louise Ford; three brothers in law, James Houchens, Gerald Ford, and Martin Shockley.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, June 11, 2023, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday, and Sunday morning until time for the services. A.F. Crow & Son is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Elmore.
