Frances Groce

GLASGOW – Frances Groce, age 87, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at her residence surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Madison, TN, on November 10, 1935, to the late Paul R. Elmore and the late Mildred Gunnells Elmore. Frances was a member of the Glasgow Bible Church. She was retired from RR Donnelly’s.

She is survived by her son, Claud Anthony Paul Groce (Dawn); sisters, Pauletta Basham (the late Joe) and Joyce White (the late O.J.); brothers, Bobby Elmore (Sue), and Paul David Elmore (Linda); and a grandson, Claud Anthony Paul Groce II.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Alvin Groce; and a brother, Jimmy Elmore (Jane Ann).

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2023, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and Thursday morning until time for the service.
