Walter Melbourne Henderson
EDMONTON – Walter Melbourne Henderson, 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton, Kentucky. Born November 2, 1932, the son of William Henderson Sr. and Agnes Henderson, Mr. Henderson was of the Catholic Faith, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and a car salesman for many years before finally retiring from Gillie Hyde.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Dorothy Phillips, Roberta Fox, William Henderson Jr., Alice, and a half-sister, Melissa.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy L. (Walbert) Henderson; children, Dean Henderson, Raymond Walbert, Mike Henderson, Scotty Henderson, Juiox Henderson, and Kathryn; brother, Steve Henderson; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jane Henderson, Jean Henderson, Mary Jane Jessie (Buddy), and Sharon Hiser; along with numerous other family members, and many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. in the Metcalfe Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation before the service.
