UPDATE FOUND -Missing mother and two children

UPDATE: We are happy to share that Anissa and the children have been located and are safe. Thanks to everyone for their help and sharing the post.
UPDATE: Law enforcement officers have NOT made official contact with Anissa or the children. They are still entered as missing persons.

 

The Kentucky State Police are asking the public for any information on a missing mother and her two children. Anissa Sprowles, age 26 of Edmonton, KY, and her children Chelsey, age 5, and Georgia, age 1, were last seen by family members at a residence in Metcalfe County on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

KSP is asking for any information that may help the investigation. If you have any information or have seen Anissa and/or her children please call KSP Post 15 in Columbia at 270-384-4796. The investigating officers are Trooper Zack Scott and Trooper Daniel Pierce.

The father, Ricky Sprowles reported the three as missing persons on Monday, May 15, 2023, when they did not return from a visit with her parents.

    The KSP and Anissas Family are asking that you DO NOT REPORT ANYTHING to the husband’s family. PLEASE ONLY REPORT ANYTHING YOU KNOW TO KSP POST 15. Anissa was in an abusive relationship and that’s as far in willing to go buy again PKEASE DON’T REPORT ANYTHING TO .ICHRLLE JEFFRIES, RUCHIE SPROWLES OR THEIR FAMILY. The KSP are more than capable of following up on tips. IF she walked away or was to keep herself and her girls safe from the abuse from her husband. @SCKentucky Newspaper you should be giving the same tip information that the KSP is giving. There’s a reason they don’t want tips going to his family. I cantvbelieve a reputable newspaper would put false information out there!!

    My prayers go out to this family. Please let these babies and their mother be safe. I will keep my eyes and ears open.
