Pamela Brooks

MAMMOTH CAVE – Pamela Brooks, age 72, departed this life on Monday, May 29, 2023, at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on December 5, 1950, to the late Walter and Ruth Reed. She was married to Clyde Brooks, who preceded her in death.

Pam worked hard as a housewife and took care of the needs of her family. She was a member of New Home General Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory— three sons, Randy Brooks (Mandy) of Mammoth Cave, Charlie Brooks (Margaret), and Jerry Brooks (Robin) all of Cub Run; eleven grandchildren, Shauna, Cody, Taylor, Lane, Devin, Ruth, Gaige, Bryer, Slade, Austin, and Gavin; four great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jodi Sue, Nova Leigh, and Joseph; and a sister, Judy Elmore (Wayne) of Ft. Myers, FL.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Ann Webb.

Interment will be in Hill Grove Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hill Grove Cemetery Fund, c/o Terry Sanders, 1471 Dickies Mills Rd., Mammoth Cave, KY 42259.

VISITATION : 4 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2023, until the time of the funeral service at Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2 PM, Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hill Grove Missionary Baptist Church
