Michael Clifton Bratcher

BOWLING GREEN – Michael Clifton Bratcher, 62, died May 24, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Bratcher was born June 1, 1960, in Glasgow, Ky to the late Clifton E. Bratcher and Carolyn Schapmire Bratcher.

Mr. Bratcher graduated from Seneca High School in 1978. He then attended the University of Kentucky. Earning a major in Political Science, and a minor in history. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1982. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He then attended the University of Kentucky Law School graduating in 1985, as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Mr. Bratcher practiced law in Louisville from 1985 to 2005. In 2005, he relocated to Bowling Green where he continued his practice, predominantly in the areas of general business representation, commercial litigation, and estate planning.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Lindsey Bratcher, of Brownsville, Ky. He will be greatly missed by his son, Hartsul Freeman Bratcher, of Louisville; and a sister, Pamela Carolyn Bratcher (Dan Stelling) of Bowling Green.

A graveside service will occur on June 3, 2023, at 1 pm, CST at Oakwood Cemetery, Hartford Kentucky where he will be interred beside his mother and father.
