Charles Edward Evener

EDMONTON – Charles Edward Evener, 76, passed away May 5, 2023, at his home. He was born on February 2, 1947, to Thomas and Rosa (Boyer) Evener. He was an Army Veteran, loved hunting, fishing, football, playing with his grandchildren, but he loved his Lord the most. He was known for his sense of humor and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Marlene Karen Evener; siblings, Glen Evener, Letha Brown, Esther Perez, and Martha Saffel.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha Louise (Henline) Evener; children, Shelby (Robbie) Smith, Jacob (Kelly) Henline, Charles J. (Jo) Evener, Pam Evener; grandchildren, Heather, Brian, Chas, Chad, Abel, Evan, Elix; several great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Marion Del) Evener; along with many other family members and many, many friends.

The family will have a private memorial gathering on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 12:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.
