A police report has been filed for a Canmer man whose family said he has been missing since last week.

James Jewell, age 32, was last seen by his family and friends on Tuesday, April 11. A police report was filed with the Hart County Sheriff’s Office three days later on Friday, April 14.

Candice Evans, whose sister, Kimberly Evans, is dating Jewell, stated that he was last seen wearing only ball shorts, no shoes or shirt. Jewell was supposedly dropped off at the Rio Bridge boat ramp in Linwood.

“Shelby Dennis was the last person to see him,” Evans shared. “He was the one who dropped him off.”

According to Evans, Jewell may have been under the influence of narcotics at the time.

Evans stated that Jewell has not contacted any family members or friends since he was last seen on April 11.

James Jewell is around 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Hart County Sheriff’s Office at 270-524-2341.
