Sheila Unglesbee Blasky

TOMPKINSVILLE – Sheila Ellen Unglesbee Blasky, age 87, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Monroe County Medical Center. She was born in Bartlett, North Dakota on October 23, 1935, a daughter of the late Florence Schroeder Unglesbee and Clyde Unglesbee. Sheila was a dedicated CNA, who dedicated many years to helping others in the healthcare industry.

Survivors include daughters, Vicky Lynn Burkhard (Tony) of Tompkinsville and Cindy Kilmer of Devils Lake, North Dakota; sons, Michael Rye of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Roy Johnson (Arlene) of Devil’s Lake, North Dakota; brother, Rodney Unglesbee of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her two husbands, William David Black and Glenn Blasky; infant daughter, Faye Angeline Johnson; and two brothers, Douglas Unglesbee and Sheldon Unglesbee.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, April 17, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. from the chapel of McMurtrey Funeral Home. Bro. Dale Pollard will officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16 from 4 P.M. -8 P.M. and will continue on Sunday, April 17 from 8 A.M. until service time at 1 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Neal Cemetery and can be made at the funeral home office.
