CARSON GIL HERNANDEZ

TOMPKINSVILLE – Carson Gil Hernandez, 14, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tennessee. He was born in Glasgow on October 9, 2008. He was an eighth-grade student at Barren County Middle School. He was quite the outdoorsman, anything from hunting to fishing, spending every waking second he could at the lake, or racing his four-wheeler, he loved every second of it. On rainy days and dark hours, you could likely find him in his room gaming with his friends and cousins or looking at diesel or square-body trucks. He was the epitome of a life-loving child.

Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his abuelo, Rigo Hernandez.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 17, 2023, from the Bartley and Sons Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with burial following in Skaggs Creek Cemetery. Bro. Darrick Proffitt officiated the services.
