There was a large group of library supporters in attendance for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held on December 16th at the Metcalfe County Public Library. Library Director, Kasey Warf welcomed the guests, recognized, and thanked the library staff and the current Library Board Members for their hard work and support of the library. Chamber President, Torrie Osbon also welcomed the crowd on behalf of the Edmonton-Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce and expressed her appreciation of the library and the many services they offer to the community. Everyone gathered as Kasey Warf cut the red ribbon and announced the official opening.

There were nice gift items and delicious refreshments for the guests. It was another great day in our community with friends, neighbors, and businesses.

The current Library Board Members are Jan Sparks, Charles Wisdom, David Smith, Kim Smith, and Phillip Feese.

Director, Kasey Warf also acknowledged her appreciation of the support and hard work provided by Board Members, Jamie Howard, and Bonnie Shaw whose terms expired before the renovation project was complete.

A job well done goes to library staff Kasey Warf, Ashley Holley, Jerrica Harris, Susan Hornek, Lauren Harper, Madeline Bela, Rebekah Mosemann, and Verenicce Conrad for hosting an exceptional Open House at the library.

We are so fortunate to have this state-of-the-art library in Metcalfe County.
