BEVERLY MURLEY

Beverly Murley, age 67 of Brownsville, departed this life on Monday, September 26, 2022, at the Edmonson Center in Brownsville.  The Edmonson County native was born on August 24, 1955, to Melba Vincent and the late Rev. Jake Vincent.

Beverly was a homemaker and a member of Poplar Spring United Baptist Church.

Besides her mother, Melba, she leaves to honor her memory— two sisters, Melissa Vincent (Johnny) of Chalybeate and Kathy Sue Spinks of Bowling Green; brother-in-law, Gary Phillips; niece and nephews, Rachel Smith (Stofer), Shawn Phillips (Jen), Bryant Phillips (LeAnn), Dakota Vincent, and Derek Spinks; great-nieces and nephews, Bailey Phillips (Jose), Taylor Phillips, Cole Phillips (Miranda), Tyler Phillips, Tate Phillips, Brandon McKay Spinks, and Hayden Browning; great-great niece and nephew, Jacey Grey Phillips and Jameson Canchola and special friend, Derek Hale.   Besides her dad, she was also preceded in death by her beloved son, Brandon Murley, and two siblings, Randy Vincent and Norma Jean Phillips.

Memorial contributions can be made to Poplar Spring Cemetery Fund, c/o Anthony Madison, 424 Main St., Brownsville, KY 42210

Interment will be in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: 3—7 PM, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel, and 10 AM—1 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Poplar Spring United Baptist Church

FUNERAL SERVICE: 1 PM, Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Poplar Spring United Baptist Church
