Mark your calendar for the 160th Anniversary of the Battle of Munfordville.

The Hart County Civil War Days/Battle for the Bridge will be held September 9th through September 11th.

Events will include the annual battlefield reenactment, as well a lantern tour, vendor booths, activities for children, and much more.

Schedule of Events:

Friday, September 9th

  • 8 a.m. – Registration Opens
  • 10 a.m. – School Days Battlefield
  • Vendor setup begins at the Courthouse Lawn
  • Historical Museum will be open

Saturday, September 10th

  • 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. – Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
  • 8 a.m. – Vendor Booths in town
  • 8 a.m. – Registration open at Battlefield
  • 9 a.m. – Flag raising at Battlefield
  • Woodson House will be open
  • 11 a.m. – Ladies’ Tea
  • 2 p.m. – Battle Reenactment at Battlefield
  • 7:30 p.m. – Dance at Battlefield Pavilion
  • 8 p.m. – Lantern Tour at Battlefield

Sunday, September 11th

  • 10 a.m. – Period Church Service at Battlefield
  • 2 p.m. – Battle Reenactment at Battlefield
