Mark your calendar for the 160th Anniversary of the Battle of Munfordville.
The Hart County Civil War Days/Battle for the Bridge will be held September 9th through September 11th.
Events will include the annual battlefield reenactment, as well a lantern tour, vendor booths, activities for children, and much more.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, September 9th
- 8 a.m. – Registration Opens
- 10 a.m. – School Days Battlefield
- Vendor setup begins at the Courthouse Lawn
- Historical Museum will be open
Saturday, September 10th
- 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. – Lions Club Pancake Breakfast
- 8 a.m. – Vendor Booths in town
- 8 a.m. – Registration open at Battlefield
- 9 a.m. – Flag raising at Battlefield
- Woodson House will be open
- 11 a.m. – Ladies’ Tea
- 2 p.m. – Battle Reenactment at Battlefield
- 7:30 p.m. – Dance at Battlefield Pavilion
- 8 p.m. – Lantern Tour at Battlefield
Sunday, September 11th
- 10 a.m. – Period Church Service at Battlefield
- 2 p.m. – Battle Reenactment at Battlefield
