JAMES DEPP “JIMMY” MARTIN
GLASGOW – James Depp “Jimmie” Martin, 78, passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was the son of the late James Seth and Lucille Christie Martin.
He is survived by his daughter, Dodie Leslie; one step-daughter, Heather VanCleave; four grandchildren, Anthony Hopkins, Celecia Henry, Dalton Leslie, and Marjorie Barns; two great-grandchildren, Jacoby Leslie and Rizz Henry; two sisters, Barbara Geralds and Linda Ballard; special friend and mother of his children, Connie Banta.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, James Frank Martin; three sisters, Margie Green, Betty Harrison, and Elizabeth Ann Bruce.
Funeral will beat 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
