GLASGOW – Margie Ann Gentry, 81, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County on August 27, 1940, to the late Thomas E. Austin and the late Ersie Lyon Austin. Margie was a homemaker and worked at Mallory’s for several years and is a member of Temple Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Darrell Wayne Gentry (Patty), Charles Wesley Gentry (Cheryl), and Forrest Craig Gentry (Tina); one daughter, Laurie Murley; six grandchildren, Joshua Wayne Gentry, Andrew Haden Gentry (Jerika), Jami Lynn Ginn (James), Austin Wesley Gentry (Christie), Jonathon Murley (Breanna), and Charles Thomas Murley (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Grace Lynn Ginn, Wyatt Gentry, Karoline Rose Murley, and Alora Ann Murley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne Gentry; one brother, Cleve E. Austin; and one sister, Gladys Morrison.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2022, at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday morning until time for service at the funeral home.
