They say it’s love that makes a house a home, and the love could certainly be felt Thursday afternoon on Ford Drive at the ribbon-cutting for Glasgow’s newest Habitat for Humanity house.
The home, one of many to be built on that street, was built with entirely volunteer labor and is to be the home of the Jernigan family.
The Jernenas were chosen applicants, and because they were chosen are able to purchase the home for the price of materials used.
Persons interested in owning a Habitat for Humanity home May apply by emailing hfh@glasgow-ky.com or by visiting the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 506 W. Main Street.
