Everyone knows the classic slogan: “America runs on Dunkin’.”
Now Barren County will soon be running on Dunkin’ as a new location is set to open in Glasgow.
The Rouleau Company LLC purchased a piece of land and building located along Rogers Wells Boulevard, across from Goodwill and KFC. The building formerly housed Taco John’s. The facility was later purchased by Cook Out Glasgow Inc. However, that franchise never inhabited the building.
The new owners who have purchased that property are now bringing the famous Dunkin’ franchise to Glasgow. They currently own and operate a Dunkin’ in Bowling Green.
“This is our second Dunkin’ restaurant location,” a spokesperson shared. “Glasgow has had small but steady population growth over the years, and we believe it is important for all communities to have more available to them through our product offerings and job opportunities. We believe we will not only offer community members a great product through our breakfast sandwiches, hot food, bakery goods, and coffee, but we will also offer very competitive wages. This includes higher paying jobs via our assistant manager and manager positions. It is very important for us to build a family with our team so everyone can enjoy their work and so we can serve customers in a manner that will make them want to visit again and again. We believe this location offers a great opportunity to serve the amazing people of Glasgow who deserve nothing but the best.”
Dunkin’ will not only offer its donuts but many more food and drink options as well.
“We are extremely excited to show Glasgow all of the product offerings we have,” the spokesperson said. “We understand that we have a large reputation for serving coffee, donuts, and other bakery goods. While we do offer a large number of bakery goods and coffee, the truth is – and what we want to emphasize a lot – is that we also offer hot food, including a large number of breakfast sandwiches, wraps, toasts, omelet bites, stuffed bagel minis, chicken, bacon, and cheese croissant stuffers, hashbrowns, and more! We also offer many other beverages, such as refreshers, frappes (frozen coffee), lemonade, slushies, teas, hot chocolate, and more. We serve food and all of our products all day long, morning or night.”
Although some of the building’s better qualities will be left intact, there will be a few changes made to the new location.
“We will have some great interior changes as well as to the exterior of the building,” the spokesperson said. “We will be offering a very large dine-in area, a patio with picnic tables for when the beautiful weather comes out, and a better structured drive-thru for those in a rush or looking for convenience.”
Although the exact hours of operation have not been determined as of yet, Glasgow’s Dunkin’ will most likely be open from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m., seven days a week.
Dunkin’ is expected to open this summer of 2022. A grand opening will be announced at a later date.
