Tri-County Hay & Straw Auction

On Saturday, January 29th at 10 a.m., the annual Tri-County Hay & Straw Auction will be held at the Metcalfe County Fair Grounds. This is a joint effort between the Metcalfe, Monroe, and Barren County extension offices.
Large squares, rolls, and small squares will be available to farmers looking for feed for their livestock. All hay will be weighed and tested for nutritional value.
There is no commission, and no sale fee to consign hay or straw. There is also a 5% buyer’s premium.
