Highland wins big, advances to nationals

Highland Elementary placed in the top five of 12 categories in a big academic win, taking home more trophies than any other school in the state of Kentucky.
“We took home more hardware than any other school,” said Amy Morgan. “We are so unbelievably proud of these kids!”
The Highland Elementary winners are advancing to Nationals this summer.
The winners are:
2D design – Carson Berry 5th Place
Sculpture – Emory Isenberg 4th Place
4th Grade Social Studies – Fisher Allen 5th Place
5th Grade Math – Chandler Smith 3rd Place
4th Grade Math – Jayden Estes 2nd Place
Creative Writing – Piper Eicher 3rd Place
Songfest – Entire Club 5th Place
Quiz Bowl – Hannah Perry, Madeline Neuhaus, Griffin Jackson, Chandler Smith 5th Place
Service Learning Showcase – Wyatt Morgan, Bryson Sexton, Fisher Allen, Piper Eicher 2nd Place
Technology – Tucker Garrett, Caden Carter, Linley Richardson, Wyatt Morgan, Cooper Davis 2nd Place
Marketing – Jackson Birdwell, Anzlee Roberston, Ashton Smith, Bryson Sexton, Joe Harper 1st Place
