JUNE WALLACE HURT
BOWLING GREEN – June Wallace Hurt, 91, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2022, in Bowling Green. Born June 20, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Pauline Hodges Nunnally. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, J. Wister Wallace and Robert Hurt; an infant sister, Francis; infant brother, Albert; sister- and brother-in-law, Dana (Robert) Simpson; and brother- and sister-in-law, Gerald (Janet) Nunnally.
She is survived by daughter, Alicia McClure (Mike); son, Jim Wallace (Peggy); grandchildren, Aaron Wallace (Emily) and Amy Wallace; great-grandson, Ryan Wallace; and special granddaughter, Katie-Jingwen Zhou (Tsung-Jen). She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
June was a long-time member of the Christian Church denomination, lastly a member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ at 1106 State Street, Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Graveside services for June Wallace Hurt will be held at 3:30 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the Edmonton Cemetery in Edmonton, Kentucky, with Pastor Megan Huston officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ choir/music program.
