JIMMIE ‘RED’ MEDWIN PAIGE
SUMMER SHADE – Jimmie “Red” Medwin Paige, age 82, passed away Friday, November 10, 2021, at Signature Health Care in Glasgow. Born July 25, 1939, in Meshack in Monroe County, he was a son of the late Ruth Kingery Shaw and Thomas Clyo Page. He worked as a farmer and a car dealer and was a Christian.
Survivors include one daughter, Julie (Steve) Coop, Summer Shade; one son, Jimmie Clyo Paige, Summer Shade; three grandchildren, Nick Patrick, Angela Andrews, and Elizabeth Bell; and five great-grandchildren, Gabriel Andrews, Stella Andrews, Jada England, Brett England, and Russell Patrick.
Preceding him in death besides his parents, were his wife, Patricia Brewer Paige; one daughter, Mary Runyon; and two brothers, James Page, and Donnie Shaw.
A private family funeral will be Saturday, November 13, 2021, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Brother Mark Park officiating. Burial will be in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 12, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and on Saturday after 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
