2021 Summer Reading Tails and Tales

The Metcalfe County Public Library has had a busy summer. Here a few statistics from our folks at the library.  

 There were 554 craft to go bags picked-up by patrons. 

Cooking with the Cat included 150 participants. 

Checkers Library TV had 680 participants. 

The ABC Circus had 20 participating. 

123 people took part in Kick-Off events. 

SRP Finals had 50 people participating. 

There were 242 Facebook live drawings. 

 

The MCPL Summer Reading Program entitled ‘Tails and Tales’ had 152 participants with 130 of those being children (11 and under) and 22 teens. In total, there were 2,227 books read and that equaled out to 7,037,320 minutes of time spent reading, according to library calculations.

The Checkers Library TV Trivia question winner was Allie Plott who got a $50 Visa Gift Card and the reading log winner was Caleb Trent who got $25 of Metcalfe Money.
