In a special gathering last Tuesday at the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber office the theme and Grand Marshall of the 2021 Christmas Parade were revealed, and it promises to be a sweet Christmas celebration!
The parade will be held on December 4th. This year’s theme is Candyland and is inspired by Glasgow’s own Haylin Adams.
Adams, only 12, is a Barren County native who competed on a national cooking television show this year while her friends, family, and the world watched. She faired very well in the competition and can whip up some delicious sweets.
Tina Hogue is the chairman of the 2021 Christmas parade committee. She commends young Haylin for inspiring other kids in the community, who need a little encouragement to follow their dreams.
