ROSS EDWARD CAFFEE

Ross “Pop” Edward Caffee, 73, entered the gates of heaven on June 10, 2021. He was born on July 31, 1947, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky to Dennis and Nola Caffee. Ross served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971.

He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Elton Dennis, Terry, and Maxie.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Caffee; sisters, Joann Parrish and Bernadine McKinney; children, Mike (Michelle) Black, Jean (Shane) Goin, Stephanie (Barron) Williamson, Heidi (John) Emerick, Mike Caffee, and Elton Caffee; several nieces and nephew, and extended family.

Ross is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren that loved and adored him. Being their “Pop” was the delight of his days. Pop was a truck driver for many years, mentored individuals struggling with drug addiction, sang in Gospel Quartets, loved fishing, and found many odd jobs he thought he could do. In the later years of his life, one of his greatest joys was taking care of “The Farm” and spending time with his grandchildren. Thank you to Hearth Hospice for being with our family over this past year. Your commitment to Pop was so appreciated.

A Celebration of Life was held on June 19, 2021, at Whitwell Church of God, 524 Morrison Spring Road, Whitwell, TN 37397.

Arrangements were by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Please share your memories, stories, and photos at www.legacyfuneralhome.com.
