Educator Idol Award

The Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce proudly announces Mrs. Judy Polson as the recipient of the 14th Annual Metcalfe County Educator Idol Award.

Mrs. Judy Polson lives in Knob Lick and is married to Freddy Polson. They have three children, Shane and wife Dana, Casey, and Summer Polson. Mrs. Polson is a member of the Antioch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She attended Western Kentucky University and graduated with an accounting degree and also obtained her Master’s from WKU. She taught at Summer Shade Elementary her first year, North Metcalfe Elementary for one semester, and was then sent to Metcalfe County High School where she remained until retirement.

A special note to all the wonderful students she had in class: “I was honored to know you, to teach and I miss you.”
