EDWARD “JUNIOR” CAFFEE, JR.
EDMONTON – Edward Caffee, Jr., 86, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born May 27, 1934, the son of the late Edward Sr. and Bessie Wilson Caffee.
Junior as he was known farmed all his life in the Gascon Community of Metcalfe County. He had a deep appreciation of the land and took pride in his work. Junior was a great family man. He loved his companion Brenda Sue without end, who passed away July 20, 2020. Junior was more than a father to his children and grandchildren; he was a friend and even at the end of his journey was still advising them how to succeed in this life. In his spare time, he could be found at Valley Fertilizer sharing stories both old and new.
Junior is survived by his children, Lynn and husband, Harvey Hawkins, LeeAnn and husband, Gerald Jones, and Nathan Caffee; five grandchildren, Harley (Zeak) McIntyre, HJ Hawkins, Hayden Hawkins, David Austin Jones, and Karter Ann Jones. Junior is also survived by a brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wanda Caffee, Jo Ann Caffee, Shirley Caffee, Charles, and Olettia Carter.
Besides his parents and wife, Junior was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters, Bobby, Russell, Phillip Caffee, Gertie Bunch, and Bertha Wilson.
Funeral services for Junior Caffee will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, January 29, 2021, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Hubbard Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, and after 9:00 AM Friday until service time.
