BRENDA SUE CAFFEE

EDMONTON – Brenda Sue Caffee, age 76, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home with her family at her side. Born in Green County, Sue was the daughter of the late Morris and Ruby Bagby Carter. Sue retired from the Metcalfe County High School lunchroom and was a member of the Foundation Methodist Church. She loved her church family dearly and was in charge of flowers.

Sue married Edward Caffee, Jr. who survives whom she loved very much. Together they raised a loving family. Sue was a giving person. She loved to garden, read, and was known as a great cook. She is known as having cooked a lot for the people in her neighborhood. She is especially known for her pinto beans and lemonade. Her love for helping people in the neighborhood also extended to kindness in giving to a multitude of charities. She was very crafty and loved making doll beds for children out of cardboard boxes.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three children who adored her, Lynn (Harvey) Hawkins, LeeAnn (Gerald) Jones, and Nathan Caffee; one brother, Charles (Olettia) Carter; five grandchildren, Harley (Zeke) McIntyre, HJ Hawkins, Hayden Hawkins, David (Sydney) Jones, and Karter Ann (Manuel).

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister, Kenny Carter and Evon Lobb.

Funeral services for Sue Caffee will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Hubbard Family Cemetery. A walk through visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
