Panthers Roll In 1St Quarter
E-Town came out smoking last week as they led to the Raiders, 29-10 at the end of the 1st quarter. Braydon Bell led the Raiders in the quarter as he scored 6 points while Jordon Burden nailed a 3 ball.
Devin Roten pitched in 5 points as the Panthers built the lead do 59-25 at the half.
The Raiders did not lay down as they outscored the Panthers in the 3rd quarter to cut the lead to 67-42. Jordon Burden led the Raiders with 7 points which included a 3 ball. Devin Roten was right behind with 6 points which also included a 3 ball.
E-town coasted in the final quarter to remain unbeaten. Jordon Burden nailed 3 ball in the quarter to finish with 15 points. Braydon Bell also nailed a 3 in the quarter to finish with 13 points while Devin Roten also finished with 13 points.
Wildcats Withstand Raiders
The Raiders were ahead at ever quarter except the one that counted as Edmonson County won, 78-76. Travis Shuffitt nailed 4 threes in the 1st quarter while Christian Bailey hit 4-4 from the free throw line plus a field goal to give the Raiders a 23-14 lead after the 1st quarter.

The Raiders got in foul trouble in the 2nd quarter which allowed the Wildcats to cut the lead to 42-39 at the half. Julian Barbour came in off the bench to score 4 points. Braydon Bell nailed 2 three balls in the quarter to total over 800 points in his 4 years. Braydon also move up to 20th on the all time scoring list for the Raiders. Jordon Burden also busted a 3 ball to total 5 points in the quarter.
Braydon Bell continued to score in the 3rd quarter busting another 3 ball while hitting 2 free throws. Jordon Burden added 6 points as the Raiders owned a 60-55 lead after 3 quarters.
The Wildcats saved the best for last as they outscored the Raiders 23-16 in the final quarter to secure the win. Jordon Burden nailed 2 more 3 balls in the quarter to finish with 20 points. Braydon Bell finished with 16 points. Christian Bailey nailed a 3 ball to finish with 9 points and six rebounds.
Hawks Continue To Roll
With Trevor Blair being hurt the offense of the Raiders are suffering. The Raiders played their 3rd game in five days last Friday and Larue had little trouble as they won 68-38. The Hawks led 33-18 at the half. Braydon Bell continued to move up the on the scoring list as he scored 7 points in the half. Jordon Burden scored 8 points and moved to the 29th spot scoring list for the Raiders with over 649 points. Although Trevor Blair has not played in the last 3 games he has moved to the 25th spot scoring 685 points. Jordon scored5 points in the 2nd half to total 12 for the game. Braydon had 12 points in the 2nd half which included 2 three balls. The Raiders entertained Taylor this past Tuesday and will entertain Nelson County this Thursday with a j/v varsity game starting at 5:30. The boys will travel to Cumberland County this Friday for a girl/boy dh. and will play Washington this Saturday at Raider gym with a starting time of 4:00 PM.

The Lady Raiders got off to a good start last week as they only trailed Central Hardin, 26-24 at the end of the 1st quarter. The Bruins went on to win, 84-68. Kiley Adcock led the Raiders as she totaled 9 points.

The Lady Raiders had trouble on defense as the Bruins would grab rebounds and eventually would get the bucket. The Bruins out scored the Raiders, 19-10 to take a 45-34 lead to the dressing room. Dea Bradley led the Raiders as she had 11 points which included a 3 ball. Kenly Christy busted a 3 ball to total 8 points for the half.
The Raiders cut the lead to 7 before the Bruins regrouped to grab the win. Kiley Adcock led the Raiders with 26 points. Haley Sturgeon had 16 points while Dea Bradley pitched in 14 points. Kenly Christy led the Raiders with six rebounds to go with her 10 points.
Lady Raiders Withstand Late Rally
The Lady Raiders led from the get go last Friday as they got a big district win over Larue County, 59-48. Jacy Gedda busted 2 three balls in the 1st quarter to get the Raiders going while Haley Sturgeon was just getting started as she scored 5 of her 29 points. Raiders up 13-8 at the end of the quarter.

Both teams struggled to score in he 2nd quarter but the Raiders were able to build the lead to 24-13 as the Hawks could only manage 5 points. Haley again led the way with 5 points.
The Raiders would build the lead to 19 points before Larue started pressing to cut the lead to 38-25 after the 3rd quarter. Jacy Gedda had 5 points in the quarter which included her 2nd 3 ball of the night. Haley totaled 7 points in the quarter.

Jacy Gedda busted another 3 ball to finish with 15 points. Kenly Christy had 4 points in the final quarter to finish with 6 points and lead the Raiders with six rebounds. Haley continued to score for the Raiders as she totaled 12 in quarter. The Raiders made 16-26 from the free throw to help gain the district victory. The Raiders entertained Taylor this past Tuesday and will travel to Cumberland County Friday for a varsity double header starting at 5:30. Homecoming will be this Saturday with Washington County. The girls will play the 2nd game on Saturday. The boys game will start at 4:00 PM.
