REBECCA JUNE WATTS
Rebecca June Watts, a long-time resident of the Edmonton area, passed away on Tuesday, the 20th of August, at T. J. Samson Hospital.
Born in 1946 in Miami, FL, June grew up with a zest for life. She attended Miami Edison Senior High. After she married the love of her life, Doyle “Bud” Watts. They then moved to Louisville, KY. There she was a loving mother, homemaker, and small business owner for her family. As a resident of Edmonton, June loved being an active member of Wisdom Faith Community Church, genealogy, cooking, shopping, but most of all being with her family.
June is survived by her husband, Doyle “Bud” Watts, her sons, Eric (Laura) Watts of Elizabethtown, KY, and Doug (Emily) Watts of Milltown, IN; her brother, Joseph Jeffries of Hialeah, FL; her sister, Linda (Mark) Giblin of Orlando, FL; her grandchildren: Victoria (Jonathon) Lynn of Hopkinsville, KY, Derek Watts of Milltown, IN, Nathan Watts of Louisville, KY, and Brandon Watts of Milltown, IN; and one great-granddaughter, Elise Lynn. All of whom brought her great joy in her later years.
Her visitation will be at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY on Friday, August 23, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. CST. Her viewing will be at Wisdom Faith Community Church in Knob Lick on Saturday, August 24th at 9 a.m. followed by her funeral at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
