The 93rd annual Branstetter Park Homecoming and Music Festival at Branstetter Park is coming up this August 24th and August 25th beginning at 10 a.m. both days. If you are looking for a good family weekend event, look no further.

Saturday’s activities will begin with live music at 10 a.m. by Arthur Hatfield and Buck Creek followed by the Hornet’s Nest Pickers at 1 p.m., and ending the day with Jared Shaw and Friends from 3-5 p.m. There will be many fun games to keep the kids entertained such as sack races and 3-legged races. Meanwhile, the adults can enjoy the shade tree pickers, the craft booths, a good game of checkers, or just socialize.

As always there will plenty of good food to partake of such as hamburgers, hotdogs, beans, and cornbread, and don’t forget all those homemade desserts.

On Sunday, the devotional will be given by Bro. Shane Smith and the message will be delivered by Bro. Joe Wilcoxson. After a huge potluck lunch (bring a dish) at noon everyone can enjoy some gospel singing by the Parnell Family.

The park is located a quarter of a mile south of the intersection of Highways 90 and 163, just one mile east of Summer Shade, KY. Signs are posted. If you would like further information call 270-428-4061.
