Despite the threat of storms, hundreds of families gathered at Bowling Park last Tuesday night to see the colorful explosion of fireworks, and participate in sack races, a corn hole tournament, coloring contest, and an apple pie eating contest.

The rain held off until after the fireworks show provided by Shock and Awe. This annual event for the community is just one of the many ways Bowling Park provides joy and recreation for Edmonton and Metcalfe County.
