OLLIE MAE RICHARDSON
EDMONTON – Ollie Mae Richardson, age 92, passed away Friday, July 5, 2019, at Metcalfe Health Care in Edmonton. She was the daughter of the late Vervin (I.V.) and Effie Witty Barrett.
She was the wife of the late Albert Lawrence Richardson who was killed during WWII on Luzon Island, Philippines. She was a homemaker and retired from Handmacker Manufacturing. Ollie Mae was a life long member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ but was most recently attending the Willow Shade Church of Christ. She was a member of the Wisdom Homemakers, Metcalfe County Quilt Club, Ladies Rook Club of Glasgow, and The Ladies Travel Club.
She is survived by her son, Gary Lawrence Richardson and wife, Martha of Edmonton; special grandchildren, Saylor and Brayden Botts; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
