Herald McDawson     1928-2019

 

Herald McDawson, son of the late Charlie and Blanche York Herald, was born March 23, 1928 in Edmonson County, Kentucky and departed this life on June 5, 2019 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 91 years.

He was united in marriage to Juanita Albie Harper, she survives.

Other survivors include; two daughters, Linda (and Richard) Winkle, and Beth (and Randy) Wynn and one son, Lynn (and Kathy) Woodall and their children, Bryan and Amy; one sister, Marjorie Styter also surviving are six other grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters, J.B., Gerald, Charlie, Wanda and Ruth.

Mr. Herald was a mechanic, he enjoyed life and was always his own man. If you were a friend, you were a friend for life.

 

Private services were held. Interment was in Randall Cemetery, Somerset, Kentucky.
