Butler County Fiscal Court – Budgets, Road Department Position, and County Park Maintenance

The Butler County Fiscal court met for regular session Monday, April 22. Melissa Mudd was guest speaker in attendance representing Hamilton & Ryker Workforce-solutions; explaining the company’s history and impact on rural towns.
Amanda White from the Butler County Boys and Girls Club discussed its mission and importance for youth in the community; asking the courts for $12,500.00 in appropriations.
Budgets for the county Cooperative and fiscal court were presented; new grants were discussed.
Motion to approve health insurance plan and premiums was passed.
Motion to approve to advertise for an operator II was discussed and changed to operator III with a starting pay of $13.50, motion was passed.
Officials reviewed the sealed quotes for mowing of Leonard Oak and Woodbury parks; motion was passed for current price and maintenance to remain. Motion was passed for A&D lawn Care company to be paid $6,000 yearly for landscaping and mowing of the courthouse lawn.
Transfers of 2018-2019 Road Cost Allocation in the amount of $182,049.09 and transfer of $25,000.00 from the General Fund to the jail fund were examined and passed.
