Friday night lights
The Wildcats had a chilly and rainy night of football on Oct. 19, at their home game. They played Larue County Hawks. Fans were bundled up in coats and sweaters and under canopies as the Wildcats took the field.
The first quarter the Hawks started well as they scored fourteen against the Wildcats six points. The end of the first quarter the score was 16-6. Edmonson got another touchdown shortly in the second quarter which put the score to 12-16. The Hawks got up another two touchdowns against the Cats. The score was 12-32 at the half.
The weather was rainy and made the field very slippery. Edmonson could not pull out the win. The final score was 12-54. This puts the Edmonson County Wildcats Varsity Football with a record of 5-4.
Next Friday the Cats host the Barren County Trojans. This will be the last home game of the season and Senior Night.
