Tuesday, Oct. 9, the Raiders travelled to Campbellsville for a district game against LaRue County. Raiders played a very hard game against a very good team in LaRue. In the first half Cameron Tennyson scored the only goal in the first half. LaRue County wasn’t going to just go away. Later, in the second half, Cameron Tennyson scored his second goal. With eight minutes left in the game LaRue County scored with only a 2-1 lead. Hart County stepped up the defense trying to keep LaRue from scoring with three minutes left in game. Braydon Bell took the ball hard to the goal and two Larue players fouled him in the box. Carter Shelton took the PK shot and scored, making it a 3-1 game. Putting Hart County Raiders in District Championship on Thursday Oct 11th. For the first time in school history Hart County played for District Championship against Taylor County. Hart County came ready to play and proved it by keeping Taylor County to only one goal in first half. Hart County was still in the game, down only one goal. Shot after shot, Hart County boys just couldn’t get one in the net. Taylor County won the game 1-0. Hart County received runner up in District. This qualified them for Regionals On Oct. 15. For the first time ever, Hart County has made Regionals.
