October 1, Hart County Boys Soccer team brought their Monday to a close with a big win to kick off a good start to a busy week. The Raiders joined Bardstown Tigers on their home field for a win 4-2. Braydon Bell brings it in with two goals for starters and Carter Shelton followed his lead and brought in two more. Two assists from Cameron Tennyson, one from Kyler Goosetree, and the Raider’s goalie, Ethan Chenoweth came in with his own assist to help make this game the victory it was. Hart County finished their regular season with the best school record being 12-6.

KHSAA recognized several of Hart County’s Varsity Soccer players for being some of the best in state since the team made its start in 2010. Braydon Bell ranks #5 via KHSAA for overall points, and #6 in scoring. KHSAA claims Carter Shelton as #8 in Assist Leaders, and #29 in point leaders. The team’s goalie, Ethan Chenoweth, was also congratulated and recognized by KHSAA for being one of the best goalkeeper’s Save Leaders at #18 and #25 in complete Game Shutout Leaders.

With a year to remember, making it farther than any Raider’s Soccer Team before now, KHSAA has listed Hart County Soccer Team as the #11 Team Scoring Leaders in the state. Raiders Cameron Tennyson and Kyler Goosetree made top leaders earlier in the season. Senior Nayt Smith, a defense player, has the most defense saves for the team this entire season. Varsity All-Star Braydon Bell crushed the all-time school scoring record in just three seasons. He attained the most goals scored in a single season, the most goals scored in a single game; both of these accomplishments broke the school records. Another school record shattered when Carter Shelton got the most assists in a single season. Lastly, Cameron Tennyson had a terrific season accumulating 13 goals and 13 assists in just one season.

Tuesday, October 9, a Home Conference Game began the District Games for Hart County. The Raiders took to the field to battle against Larue County Hawks at 6:30 PM (cst) located at the Campbellsville Elementary School Soccer Field.
