River Fest

Individuals really seemed to enjoy the Boy Scouts flag raising ceremony on Saturday.

Residents of Butler County have so much to be thankful for.  One of which is a community of individuals who come together to host family-friendly events at no charge to the public.

Butler County Fiscal Court along with numerous community members worked together to put on the North Park River Fest.  This is quickly becoming an annual event in the county.  It’s growing in numbers and in participation each year.

This year was especially important because additional improvements were made for visitors.  Those modifications included a pavilion, an updated road to the park, a flagpole and updated park benches.

Butler County Judge/Executive David Fields and Magistrates really enjoyed putting together a great event for the public.  It seemed to pay off because many people attended the event.

Volunteers are anxious to get to work on next year’s big event.  For more information on upcoming happenings for the county, visit the group’s Facebook page.
