New High School Principle Announced At Metcalfe

The Metcalfe County School system announced Tuesday, July 24th that Clint Graham has been chosen as the new principle of Metcalfe County High School the position left vacant when Kelly Bell retired earlier this month.
Graham comes from Green C
ounty High School, where he has been the assistant principle for the past three years. He was also a teacher and coach at Taylor County Schools.
In his statement, Graham said, “I will always lead with character and integrity, putting students’ needs at the forefront of our decisions.” He further added, “I will work hard every day to know every student by name and know their story. The students at Metcalfe County High School will know that I care.”
Superintendent Benny Lile, who led the selection process, thanked the parents and staff that served on the screening committee and stated that their input and involvement was invaluable. The selection process was made much more difficult by the fact that a high number of qualified candidates applied.
”I am convinced Clint Graham has all the qualities necessary to be a successful high school principle,” noted Lile.
Graham stated that he is looking forward to working with all the students and staff at Metcalfe County High School and said, “Today it is an honor and privilege to be a HORNET.”
