Grand opening A plus Family Healthcare

Several customers, families, and friends were in attendance for the ribbon-cutting ceremony held last week in Brownsville.
A + Family Healthcare is not your ordinary clinic. It was built on a foundation of family and caring for those one holds dear. A grand opening ceremony was held on May 29 in Brownsville. Many attended in support of not only the new business but also to show their love and adoration for the Parsley family (Heather is co-owner of the operation).
Parsley is an APRN. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 14 years now. She is married to Brian Parsley and they have two children, Caroline and Coleton.
The ceremony was initially planned months ago but had to be delayed. This was due to Coleton being involved in a sledding accident earlier this year. That quickly caused all things to be halted and sparked a community to come together in prayer for Coleton’s speedy recovery. It took some time, and a lot of hospital stays doctor visits and therapy, but God answered the Parsley’s prayers. Coleton came home. He was in attendance for the ribbon-cutting on Tuesday. Coleton shared with many about all his adventures in and out of the hospital. He remained in good spirits and most of all were thankful to be back with all his family.
Heather was very appreciative of the turnout for the ceremony.
“I want to thank everyone for coming out to the opening of our clinic,” she said. “It has been much needed in this community. We appreciate the continued support of this clinic.”
Edmonson County Chamber of Commerce board member Bob Kleier shared a few words. He said the plaza has seen a lot of activity here recently, thanks to business developments such as the healthcare facility. He too was thankful to see something like this open in Edmonson County.
Through a joint effort, it was decided that Brownsville could benefit from opening a primary care clinic to treat ages two and over for routine primary care, acute and chronic illness. The owners hired Ashley Graham to be the full-time medical assistant, x-ray tech, and office manager and she brings over nine years of experience in this practice. Also recently hired full-time was Brittany Sowders, APRN.
A+Family Healthcare offers the newest digital x-ray equipment that is available. The location is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. daily for lunch. For more information on the clinic visit, https://www.facebook.com/A-Plus-Family-Healthcare-716281308564961/.
