Gov. Bevin Appoints Traci Lee Peppers as Circuit Judge in the Family Court for the 43rd Judicial Circuit, Division 2
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 7, 2018) – Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed Traci Lee Peppers, of Glasgow, as Circuit Judge to serve in the Family Court for the 43rd Judicial Circuit, Division 2.
Peppers is a private practice attorney who specializes in family law cases. She formerly served as assistant commonwealth’s attorney in the Barren/Metcalfe Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
“I wish to thank Gov. Bevin for appointing me to the position of Family Court Judge for Barren and Metcalfe counties,” said Peppers. “It is an honor to serve the children and families in our community, and I promise to work hard for the community that I love.”
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Campbellsville University, Peppers earned her juris doctorate from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.
Peppers will serve until the position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
