Raiders start win streak

The Raiders got their first win in the Collegiate Tournament as they turned back Portland Christian, 89-68. Trevor Blair got the Raiders going in the first quarter as he scored 10 of his 12 points.  Trevor nailed two 3 balls in the quarter.  Braydon Bell was just getting started with his first 3 ball.  John Shoulders added 6 points in the
quarter with the Raiders leading, 23-19 at the end of the quarter.     The Raiders were hot early in the 2nd quarter as they built an 11 point lead but Portland roared back to tie the game at 40 at the half.
Five Raiders scored in the quarter.     The Raiders came out shooting hot in the 3rd quarter as they busted four 3 balls.  Braydon Bell had two 3  balls in the quarter as he scored 10 points in the quarter.  John Shoulders also was hot as he scored 11 points in the quarter.  The Raiders lead 68-51 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Raiders had four players in double figures led by John Shoulders 27 points and grabbing five rebounds.  Braydon Bell had 23 points and also grabbed five rebounds.  Chandler Wilcoxson had a consistent game scoring  12 points and leading the team in rebounds with eight.

Second win not easy
The Raiders held off the Generals of Thomas Nelson in the Collegiate tournament 56-52 in the second game of the tournament.   The Raiders led from the get go but the Generals cut the lead to two points in the last minute
of the game.  A 3 ball by Trevor Blair and free throws made by the Raiders allowed them to get the win in the end.

The Raiders made 8-11 free throws in the final quarter to secure the win.  John Shoulders led all scorers with 26 points while Jonah Carter came in off the bench to score 11 points for the Raiders.

Raiders are Champions
The Raiders won their third straight game to become the champions of the Louisville Collegiate Tournament as they won over Collegiate 71-64.  The Raiders led at every stop and stopped a 4th quarter rally by the Centurions.  Trevor Blair led the way for the Raiders as he busted four 3 balls and finished with 24 points.  John Shoulders finished
with 19 points. Isaac Coats was right behind with a 3 ball and 9 points.  The Raiders will have played Green County this past Tuesday and will travel to Caverna this Friday for the big girl/boy district match up beginning at 5:30 PM.
